I recently picked up this extremely glittery polish, and I am pretty impressed.
The colour is a gorgeous kind of silvery/gold/beige. It's hard to describe fully. The glitter is pretty fine and very opaque.
The one con I have with this polish is that you need many layers of top coat to get rid of the gritty texture of the glitter.

Falling into fall.
So nice to say that this indian summer in southern california is coming to an end, and fall is finally here. Time to get out all of the fall jackets and colours. This is my favourite season of the year!
I thought I would show what my top picks for fall are.
It's a mix of metallics, jewel tone colours, intricate prints, fur, leather and dark berry reds or "oxblood".
Some other trends for fall are more coloured jeans, army/military, draped cardigans and leather skinnies.

Travel: England & Italy
During my short 2 week break after my summer quarter, I was finally able to travel back home to England and visit my nan. It was great to finally be back there and enjoy all of the things and people I had missed.
While I was over there, I figured I would go and meet up with my best friend Monet. She just recently moved to Vienna, Austria for her year of studying abroad. We had made plans to meet up so very last minute, and our ideas on where to meet changed many times. We ended up deciding on taking a short trip to Venice, Italy.

I obviously had to go to Nandos, Yum! (Chicken Wrap; Medium with a Sagres)

Also did a bit of shopping at Westfield Stratford City, hehe.
Couldn't go without having a John Smiths!
This is my Uncle's (well now my cousin's) Snake, named Drake. He is feasting on some raw chicken.
Our first stop in Italy was Venice, where we stayed at a campsite in little cabin/chalet things. We spent an entire day just walking and discovering the little city. We ate pizza, pasta and drank coffee. The food was so amazingly good.
First view I saw of Venice
Gondolas in the Grand Canal
A small side canal, so pretty!
Basilica de Fiari
Our next day took us to Verona, Italy. This place is the home of Juliet's House, and some roman ruins. We didn't get here until about 4pm due to waking up pretty late (typical us). The train took about 2 hours and wasn't too bad of a journey. Walking around was pretty easy in this town too although we ended up hitching a bus back to the train station.
Verona Arena
View of Juliet's Balcony.
Entrance into the main town area of Verona.
On our last day, we went to Padova. It didn't turn out to be the day we had hoped for due to the rainy weather and having a shorter time limit (Monet was leaving at 7:30pm to go back to Vienna). We ended up just walking around a park and trying to find another Basilica, but failing.
